Saunders, a brand owned by parent company Crane Co., offers a range of manually and linearly actuated industrial diaphragm valves that play a vital role in flow control applications in many diverse industries, including chemical, mining and water treatment.
Saunders also offers a wide selection of polymers with superior corrosion and abrasion resistance for a wide range of demanding applications.
Saunders' flagship product, the Type A diaphragm valve is made of synthetic rubber with internal reinforcements, supported in all positions and isolating the mechanical parts from the fluid.
Its cast iron head is operated by a rising handwheel, with a position indicator protecting the operating stem from fouling and corrosion by the environment.
The valves can withstand a continuous operating pressure of 16 bar in all sizes up to 2" and 10 bar up to 150 mm diameter.
The Saunders diaphragm valve is PED compliant with maximum pressure, temperature, order code, factory order number and date of manufacture.
